Poem: Forgive Me

Forgive Me

Forgive me for my sins

For my evils, for my wrongs,

When I hid away; my weakness

Overpowering my strong.

Forgive me for the times I breathed

But failed to sing a tune;

For when I hurt the ones I love,

My thoughts and feelings strewn.

But most of all forgive me

For when I neglect my blessings,

And forget that there are those

Who live a life of constant stressing.

My feet walk floors of marble,

Floors of hardwood, floors of stone,

While somewhere far away from me

Through dirt feet march, alone.
