I was so extremely excited to discover that my piece, “Make Hands Not War,” also known as “Hands,” was recently honored with an Artistic Achievement Award in the K-12 Ceramics Competition run by the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts!
The piece was accepted into exhibition and later awarded by noted potter and educator Julia Galloway. So grateful for all of the support from my teachers and peers for giving me the courage to enter, could not be more excited and happy!
So excited that my classmate and friend, Leo Zhang, was accepted into the exhibition as well for one of his beautiful wood-fired pots!
